Cool, don't forget that your temps will be significantly lower in games thumb.gif

Back from work, happy to see that none of workers stopped. smile.gif Nearly 14 hours stable before I manually stopped them. Highest temperatures were 58/61/65/56 °C.

Next stop: 12 hours of Prime95 with 4.3 GHz at +0.030V offset!

Using +0.030V offset. smile.gif How do you like those temperatures? thumb.gif

Before anyone asks, that's the protagonist from Penumbra: Black Plague being dragged into the darkness on my wallpaper.

temps aren't bad at all. what LLC are you using?

I have a gigabyte ud5h Z77 and am about to explore offset and LLC settings.

right now I'm @ 4.5ghz @ 1.310 vcore in BIOS, LLC highest setting, getting 1.308 vcore in cpu-z 1.296 would run bf3/d3 etc. but crash @ 1344 in prime95.\

my temps are max 67* which was the moment I started it, forgot to up the fans to 50%. it really stays around 60*

LLC is level 3.

I have to admit that temperature was a bit chilly in my room so that explains why core temperatures were so low under load. No more than a week ago ambient temperature was much higher (~30 °C) which noticeably affected core temperatures (about +5 °C on each core).

Why are you using Z77 for SB? I mean, I know they're compatible, but why not Z68? Or did you freshly buy it?

Also, I don't think you should put BF3 and D3 shoulder to shoulder because D3 is much much less demanding.

PC was just built a few days ago, and yeah d3 could run on my phone I bet lol

my ambient temps are low as well and it does make a difference. 20-21 C

I plan on going ivy bridge down the road possibly, not enough info out there for me yet.

4.3 GHz, offset +0.025V, stable for 13 hours in Prime95 using blend test, max. temperatures across cores 59/62/65/57 °C. Vcore in CPU-Z was 1.288V most of the time, occasionally going up to 1.296V - 1.304V.

I managed to do 12.5 hour run in Prime95 using +0.020V offset for 4.3GHz with very similar CPU-Z Vcore and temperatures to those for +0.025V offset (what a surprise). So far so good. smile.gif
