12.4 WHQL CCC Drivers Released! [Discussion Thread]

They're here! Get to it, and grab the latest drivers to take control of your GPU.

While resolving some issues, I went to download 12.3 again, but instead was presented with 12.4! Enjoy everyone!

Many things are fixed in this release, and anyone running Eyefinity will be pleased to know that the Screen-Tear Issue has been resolved, along with the result of fixing many crashes for many things. For more details, please read the Release Notes linked below.

Same as with all "12.4" releases, CCC doesn't open frown.gif

CCC.exe appears in task manager for a few seconds, then disappears.

System Restore...

When you ran that beta, did you check to see if it has a CIM, aka catalyst install manager before installing/uninstalling? Also you can check programs/features in control panel to see if CIM is there. No CIM = very hard to uninstall so you'll have to use a drivers wiper app, atiman etc as a last resort.

Looks like a Major Update. If only every driver had this many fixes.

Nice, new drivers to try out. Just wondering ever since the 12's drivers came out, with Msi afterburner the clocks always default to 300/500 but clicking a profile setting in afterburner fixes the issues but just wondering why that happens?

that's not a driver issue, rather a windows install shield bug

use ATIMAN to do a full clean whipe of that, then reinstall the drivers

or install a new copy of Win7
