Intel, I will not spend money on something that is an inferior total package when compared to it's predecessor.

I hope AMD capitalizes on this. Intel needs to learn.

honestly?silver plated copper heat spreader is a very good idea and relativly cheap !but i doubt intel will do it!maybe on their extreme serie it could happen tho!so tell them your spec!here is mine for the extreme serie

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0008622301001129

i want the heat spreader out of this.also i want to have a water cooler version of this all part made out of this ,yes including the radiator.(not the fan lol)

to get silver-copper heat spreader you might have to go see a person in this field and ask him to plate the heat spreader,i wonder if it would be a good idea to silver plate the radiator (aluminium thing on top of the processor heat spreader)not sure it can even be done lol!but i bet silver plated copper radiator already exist as an after market)

just as a reminder:air is almost one of the worst in term of w/m-k so no air at all guys!

"fix"?

They did this deliberately as a cost cutting measure. lol
The Pentium E2000 series had TIM under the IHS too.

Wait a minute, who said there was going to be a fix? Do you know something we do not or are you just assuming Intel will fix it?
