And i plan to throw them in RAID 0, because one of my WD in my RAID is dying.. My question is. with the lack of Trim.. am i going to see these pups slow waaaayyyy down? Or is there anything extra i need to do?

When I had my X25-m SSDs in Raid 0, I found myself reformatting and secure erasing every 6 months or so.

nope, you'll be fine. Just let them idle logged out over night a few times a week.

i dont think you will, if anything you will get a performance gain, IIRC garbage collection will make up for the short comings of losing trim smile.gif

I thought Intel had TRIM on Raid for awhile but now that im looking it up a thread on OCZ forums a guys like "I've been waiting on that for 2 years" If I was on SSD Raid I would be p'd. Thats kind of rediculous.

TRIM is supported for SSDs when the SATA mode is set to RAID, but not when SSDs are part of a RAID volume.

Your sig rig says the M4s you have are in RAID 0, if so then you do not have TRIM working. TRIM will only work if the drive is a single drive while the SATA mode is set to RAID, not when part of a RAID volume.
