First gaming PC build!

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, how's it going? This is my first time posting here as well as my first build. I'm working on a budget so a sub $1000 range is what I'm looking at. How doe's this look so far? Any suggestions would be awesome! I am open to make any changes so long that it doesn't break the bank. Here is the build i have so far http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7kYC thumb.gif

The 975 is a terrible value; you can get a 1045T on Superbiiz for less than that....

and until Corsair brings their ripoff PSU prices down so that the HX650 costs (as it should) less than the much better (in every way) Rosewill HIVE 750, I won't be recommending any of their units.

This build, but make room or money for an SSD that can hold your OS and a few games! Then this system would be TOTAL BEAST! thumb.gif

Thanks for all the input, I really appreciate it. After looking around and thinking, for what I would like to use this build for, I decided on this.

I hoping that someone can take a look at this and just double check for me whether everything is okay. First build so I'm a still hesitant before I order everything.
