those headphones go for 200? im sorry but i cant pay 125 for a pair of headsets that are going low for 195. and i cant sit around for a deal or sale. if you can find me one for 160 id be more than happy to buy them but i dont really like buying used things unless they are in mint condition. but are they bad for the price? findme something in the 130-150 range so i can compare.

The M50 is only good for sub $125. Above that there are better headphones for the price. For $150, the Ultrasone PRO 550 is a much better deal.

Also check out the Beyerdynamic DT770. Tons of controlled, punchy sub-bass and excellent mids and highs, great for any kind of electronica. They're good for other genres too, but they really shine in electronica imo. Also the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. Had mine for 2-3 weeks now, and I've had them on my head more than off. After 7+ hours my ears can get a little sore but I just take a quick break and it's fine again.

I don't listen to much techno or trance these days but the few tracks that I've heard sounded really good through these headphones. The low end response should not disappoint you and it provide enough bass.

As far as comfort goes. I can't agree with iCrap on that. These headphones clamp down kind of firm, which can make it uncomfortable after just 30 minutes of listening. Fortunately, you do get used to them after awhile but I still wished that they were a bit more comfortable. Go with coil, I have the straight and they do become annoying.

Actually you are sortof right. I remember now i clamped them down on a tissue box for a few days after i got them to loosen it up a little. Now its really comfortable after doing that.
