H100 push/pull in a NZXT Tempest 410

Thread Starter
I'm planning an upgrade from my Q9550 and I'm going IB.
I think I'm going to use the ASUS P8Z77-V. Seems like a nice choice.

My case is an old Cooler Master Centurion 532 that I'd like to retire. No cable management whatsoever.
I was thinking of getting a NZXT Tempest 410 and mounting an H100 on the top.
I've seen the radiator mounted in the top cage and the fans mounted inside... what I'd like to do is mount the radiator and fans inside and mount a second pair of fans on top inside the cage to complete the push/pull.

So my question is this - Is there enough room inside to mount the radiator and fans?

Just a little more info I thought I'd add - I chose the Tempest because of price and size. My Centurion measures 17.72 inches high. That gives me about 2 inches of space between the top of the case and my desk. I can't go much taller with the case and if I do, the ports will need to be on the front, not top. I have spent hours looking at cases and measurements and this is one of the few cases that will fit in my desk that doesn't cost a small fortune.

This is probably no longer relevant for the OP and the second poster but I'll put out some info regarding this scenario in the NZXT Tempest 410 in the event that someone out there finds this information useful some day tongue.gif

I have an ATX board in this case with an XSPC EX240 radiator mounted on top of the case in the designed area with two 25mm fans on the inside of the case. The space left between the bottom of the fan to the edge of the motherboard is about 5-8mm which means that you have about 30-33mm on the inside of the case to the edge of the motherboard.

Considering that the H100 radiator is 27mm thick, this does not leave enough space for even a slim fan (15mm). The only way I could see a slim fan fitting under there with that radiator is with a motherboard that does not have any components that are very tall (10-15mm max) or very close to the top edge of the board.
