Being correct on the internet is also quite important. Probably why I'm having so much fun!

Did I ever tell you about the time where the writer of this article actually lied about EA having always online DRM, and that people on the internet were so stupid that a person could try and tell them that EA of all companies have been using always online DRM without OCN, anonymous and ten million internet surveys somehow managing to not notice until this liar made a blog post vieled as "news"?

GrizzleBoy: I'm just tired as I am suffering a bout of transient insomnia. Anything will make me mad at this point. Even writing this right now make me want to destroy my computer and all belongings.

That blogger made me mad and I didn't even read his blog.

Thanks for bringing sanity to this thread.

Still mad though. mad.gif

Did I ever tell you the time that you argued for 5 pages straight on the internet. Those were good times.

Don't think there is a written source. It's from the UK showcase. Lots of sites have unbiased articles though.

Oh darn. I can't argue if there's nothing written, because then it's all conjecture instead of just reading between the lines frown.gif.

I'm placing a bet that at least half of EAs 2013 big franchise games are always on. Even more so for other publishers (looking at you UBI).

Simply because the market is headed in that direction. 'nuff said.

Doesn't mean I agree with it.

Hell, Sim city is going to be always on.

WTH?

really, "lets take a classic single player game and make it multi but it will always need to be connected because game universe."

If I want to play an MMO...

well I'll play an MMO.

I miss the days that I could actually cheat in a game frown.gif.

....and get away with it!

No it isn't.

People also tried to spin an EA reps words in regards to that too.

The rep said you need Origin to start playing the game (i.e launch the game, just as you will do with most EA games in the future) and all the news sites added their own words till it became "origin and an always on connection is required" so they had to clarify.
