Hey all, here's the link to the GTX 480 for the ones interested.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130759

I have this card, its warm @ load, no problems if you have good airflow in your tower.

chris you are joking right? cinco = 5?!
I think at the moment this is a card for people who only need one decent card and then wan't to upgrade later. 2 or 2+ cards in SLI is not worth the heat vs performance while u can get a Radeon 7970 for a slightly higher price.

If they where 5870s it would be a good deal, as they are comparable to 6800 and 6900 series concerning power/performance.
But the 480 are real power hogs, 95C busting loud freaks.

My overclocked 480 is no louder than my overclocked 5850. It sucks more power, but it's not louder.

You do need proper case ventilation for one though, at least if you plan on overclocking.

I had tested a 470 for a while. It sucked around 70W more than my 5870 in furmark (both stock) and more than 100W at 700MHz. All that while reaching 95C. Both where loud while running furmark, but the 5870 didn't go over 82C. And the 5870 was quite faster.
