The "Perpetual Testing Initiative" DLC will arrive for the PC and Mac versions of Portal 2 on May 8. The free expansion will allow players to design their own puzzles, then publish them to the Steam Workshop for review and play by other players.

Probably won't beat the Source SDK maps out there, but I'd like to see how things like lighting works when converting from that isometric view to the Source engine.

They could have had a little more challenge in the puzzle design, but I was more disappointed by the lack of portal use. I wanted more skill based slingshot maneuvers. All the long, portal inhibiting hallways got really annoying as well, I got the game to jump through portals, not listen to AI's yapping!

I will definitely have fun with the editor.

There is already a great community making custom maps, a good portion of which are extremely polished. I must have played 50-60 custom coop maps, this will make them even better!
