Gotta love this 'We are above what customers think' mentality a lot of companies have lately.
If you--for some crazy reason--continue playing Guild Wars after all this, I'd demand some form on compensation for this whole thing. It's the very least they can do to keep you a 'loyal customer'.

She wont be playing GW2 as now she dont have the time.
Anyway, i hope you get your problems resolved soon.

Definitely contact news sources like Giant Bomb or Penny Arcade. You might get some help there. At the very least, they'll be pressured into refunding GW2. If you don't even get that call your bank and do a chargeback on GW2. You paid for a product and they shut down your account so you're unable to even receive said product. It is theft/fraud and your bank should fight for you. Assuming of course you used a card.

The email seemed to indicate that your Guild Wars account was permanently banned, it did not say your NCSoft Master Account was banned.

I would email this guy and try to get an explanation as to what has happened to the account that makes it unsupportable. This also doesn't sound like a run of the mill account hacking as they are referring to the incident as complicated. It just doesn't seem like we have all the information here. Privacy laws keeps NCSoft from saying anything to us, the public.

It sounds like you need to dig deeper.

If you truly did nothing wrong, they should hopefully work with you and at the very least, get you a new GW and GW2 game account.

I think everyone telling you to threaten them with the media isn't the right path to take. Of course, that cat is already out of the bag...
