Samsung phone, never...ever...again.

So I wish this was just isolated to me with these issues, but unfortunately it's about as widespread as EA's crappy tech support.

Went to Verizon some 6-7 months ago, saw the Samsung Charge, seemed smooth, amaaaazing screen, loved the physical buttons and the overall phone. Little did I know Samsung uses some of the crappiest radio hardware when it comes to phones. Ever since I got it I've had data constantly cutting in and out. Reception that goes bonkers. I have to reset my data about 6 times a day. Don't even get me started on the near useless GPS. Look for an address and spends the next 20 minutes waiting for "locating GPS". I have restart my phone pretty much everytime right before I need to use it. I was going to bring it back after a few months of fighting it and get it replaced but apparently it's just Samsung.

Friend bought the Nexus, which is supposed to be their FLAGSHIP phone for Verizon, the game changer. Everything on the phone is amazing except the fact he can't ever use the internet on it. Today his data hasn't been working for 5 hours now.

My other friend had the Epic and not even since day 1 has his GPS worked. Well it did once but it kept locating 5 miles away from where he actually was.

Anyone else having these issues with their Samsung phones and is there any fix that you know of?

everything in your post is completely irrelevant. It's a hardware issue which would need a firmware update, not an operating system update, and why are you even mentioning water damage or over heating...

My Galaxy S2X is the cat's meow!

Greatest phone in the history of phone. I literally orgasm when I use it. Every. Single. Time.

Since it's you and your friends, maybe your city has poor cell service to begin with. Because every Samsung phone I've ever used has been awesome.

Carrier issues have nothing to do with the phone.

Faulty phones come from all companies. One, or a couple of faulty phones, does not represent the majority of their products. Samsung makes some of the best phones on the market and don't suffer from idiocy of crappy frame design.

No offence but he was only posting to help. Signal quality is almost always software or carrier network side, actually. If you were looking for troubleshooting advice, then you posted in the right place. Otherwise, if you were just looking to complain then the Rants and Raves section would probably have been the best place to post this.
