Hey guys,

I've been trying to edit video in Vegas 10 and it's very very slow and stuttery, especially when playing a preview. I've tried on lowest quality preview and the same thing happens. The problem is, my CPU is barely touching 20% usage and RAM is only ~3GB used. Vegas is installed on my SSD, and the footage is coming from my 1TB Samsung F3, however I used the same version of the program, reading from the same drive (with vegas installed on the 500GB drive) and it ran just fine when I had my Phenom 955 @ 4.

Overclocks are all stable.

I am also having trouble with VirtualDub (I compress recorded footage with it) - each instance is only using 30% CPU so I have to run 3 instances to actually use the full power at my disposal.

Cheers,
Tristan
