So I've been researching what the next MMO I'm going to play is and Dust 514 /EVE just made the top of the list b/c of this great IGN article/review (oxymoron?).
I can think of very few events in my gaming career that sound as exciting as Keza's description of the 2005 assassination event and Incarna protests.
In the comments one guy explained better than anything I've read on their official site how Dust potentially would work...
"in dust 514 you will be part of an eve online players army so you only go and battle on planets they are defending or fighting to take over, as far as i know from what I've read in articles and seen in ccp vids you can't go and fight on any random planet, dust will work directly into the economy of eve so everything you do has a consequence, every soldier you kill has had there armour and weapons made by an eve player which in turn cost then time and money."
I thought the W v W stuff in GW2 sounded epic but what CCP has already done w/ EVE and might pull off w/ Dust seems even more epic.
