Different CFM fans for push pull

If you have say 60CFM fans in pull, would 30CFM fans in push help at all?

Reason I ask is I want to have FDB fans in push for idle cooling and higher CFM BB fans in pull which will activate at higher temps.

The FDB fans are expensive and only low RPM.

My guess is yes. You'd still be getting more cool air through the rad. If you had the 30 in pull and 60 in push, you may create an air block, but how you have it setup seems fine.

mixed fan speeds is usually a bad idea. one will create drag on the other one and so forth, might create a small advantage in temps for a while but put "more" than usual wear and tear on fans.

just get a decent fan controller. thumb.gif
