Few questions about going WC - Page 2

My friends I2600k was running that hot. We bought a 49.99 antec H50 or 70 I think, Dropped his Idle to 32 and Load to 52 celcius. Much better, thats only a single rad setup. So anything like that or slightly better would suffice. Triple rad is a bit overkill.

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitly get a XT45 instead !

But tell me what you think about this:

EK Supreme LTX Acetal (the Raystorm if I can put extra money cause I love the look !)
Phobya G Changer 240 rad (according to some reviews that's a good rad that works very well with any fans)
EK DCP 2,2 pump
OC Cool 5,25" bay reservoir
Masterleeker 13/10mm blue tubing
A set of compresion fittings
Mayhems Biocide + distilled water

Sounds good ?

Thanks

Only thing I would change is the biocide, which I would switch out for a kill coil. That's really just personal preference though.

As for your water block, the EK LTX is great! I was just suggesting the raystorm because it was in that kit.

What country are you in, UK?

Maybe 1-2 degrees, not much. But I'd prefer a low restriction block with a weak pump, it won't take long before you want to water cool your gpu also smile.gif

I'm in Finland, therefore the best place to order for me is aquatuning cause of the cheap shipping, and great range of products. But feel free to recommend other products in other places.

450

I've done this lil' drawing, what do you think ? I've done the fittings in red, so you can see I would need 4 straight + 4 L shaped + 2 L shaped tube2tube (no idea what's the name for that, but hopefully you understand).
