Whats Up with Feser?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for feser UV red 1/2 ID 3/4 OD tubing, and UV red coolant. For some reason I'm finding it hard to find both in the US.. Fesers own website will only sell me 2' of the tubing.. I'd rather not buy from overseas.. I contacted one of the resellers and got a response basically saying that feser has folded.... Not to mention Feser's Facebook page is just dead... Can anyone suggest a good replacement coolant/tubing brand?

feser has been dead for a while.. and also, you used feser coolant? that was known as some of the worst for having problem.

if you must use coolant, id personally only use icedragon coolant with mayhems dye if color is needed, and only tube I will use is PrimoFlex Pro LRT

Feser isn't that bad. The coolant IMO wasn't actually ever the problem, the tubing was.

Primoflex LRT isn't all that good right now either. Took this pic last night.

I have only ever used Primoflex tubing. Flexibility is graet, though if you are using a dyed liquid it can and will satin the tubing the longer you leave it in. Then again this could be for all clear tubing. I also have used feser one liquid for the last few years, coupled with nickel plated koolance blocks and and compression fittings, without any issues. No corossion, as well as no "deposits" that people refer to in their water blocks. I actually just recently ordered feser liquid from www.frozencpu.com . $19.99 per bottle, which is cheaper than most other liquids you can buy. Though, after reading through a couple of recent threads I may switch to Distilled/killcoil setup. I am using feser now because i just ordered it and dont want to let it go to waste.

@lowfat: How old is your tubing? What type of liquid are you using?

The tubing was used for 2 months so far. The coolant is Ice Dragon Cooling nanofluid.

I want to display the reservoir through the glass, so it would be nice if the coolant matched the tubing..

Ahh ok. I display my res as well and wanted it all to be the same color, so i went with the clear Primoflex tubing. If you ever decide to change up your color scheme just change out the liquid for another color. Although after a while the clear tubing can get stained frim darker fluids, such as the Red. I am in the process of changing out my tubing from the red Feser one liquid. Then again I had the liquid running in the loop for over a year, because I left my PC with my wife who was overseas. So I couldnt change it. Anyway, just a thought. Clear tubing and colored fluid works, unless you wanted the opaque look of the colored tubing.

@Lowfat, I dont know what to tell you. It may have something to do witht he liquid your using. I ran 4 different colors through my tubing over 3 years, the last full year being red, and had no problems between colors with discoloration like yours. (except for the last color cause it was in the system for so long). But i would like to point out how little problems i had with Feser one liquid, as far as deposits and corrosion, as well as bacterial/algae growth. There was a bit of algae/bacterial growth in the res this time around. Though i am sure it was mainly due to how long the liquid was in the loop. You should obviously change out your fluid more than once a year.
