just figured I'd show you guys what I got done today. I think the perforations came out pretty good. I can't wait to see it on the case.

this is the inside of the door, bare aluminum looks nice.

And this will be the outside, the side you will see. It still needs to be bent to match the plastic door and needs to be cleaned, painted.

Thanks man. I have been working on this idea for a while so hopefully it comes out the way I want. it still needs to be filed and fitted to the inner door frame on the case. over the next few days it will be ready to go.

I agree it does look weird, I have noticed that with all the vents I've made using the recycled metal that the part that I am making looks bad until it is in paint.
The other thing is the door needs to be trimmed on the top and left side. I just trimmed the top a few minutes ago. Don't worry it will be done this week. But I won't rush it. Metal only has so much forgiveness. Lol. I think the next thing will be the SSD'S mount. Thanks by the way!

I know a few of you guys were waiting to see this...

Did not come out as well as I thought but not bad since the wire wheel decided to be a douche. Anyway what do you guys think of the aluminum door?
