ok cool, good call. If i'm using XP to bench SPi, should i partition the XP drive? or would it make sense to partition my win7 drive, thereby having the OS on one drive and SPi in its own partition on a separate drive..

Hi everyone, I'm curious to know why Olive Green theme will get you better results than "classic mode".

Is it just as it is or there's some explanation to it?

It wont necessarily get you better results.. but when everything is tuned/tweaked/stripped to the max.. most users experience slightly better times using this theme vs. others

waza works better than any of that if done right.

the tweaks mentioned here and some others dropped my time by around 10s, spent about an hour faffing with waza and dropped another 15s.

i wouldnt run 32m for a competitive run without it now.

On older hardware waza was able to take a huge chunk of time off, now it's a little less relevant (though still very necessary for competitive runs) and it's effectiveness has been reduced to around 3-5 seconds. If I saw a 15 second reduction from waza on my Ivy rig then I'd scream so loud you would hear me from the U.K. tongue.gif

ya.. no wazza for old gear, like P4 32mil.. and you might as well shut the rig down biggrin.gif .. newer rigs can make due without it.. until the runnings tighten up.. then its a must. ** I couldnt make 7m54s without it at my RAM speeds/timings on Ivy.. thats for sure.

I know this is the 32M guide but how does my 1 mill time look for a 5.3 Ghz run? This is with an H100 cooling it as well.
