You're going to hate this reply, but, IMO, since you're dead on for AMD, build a nice mid range build and save up for PD. Maybe make yourself a media center or a secondary rig for the future. If you don't like that, go with 1100 as per title.

Well,

She booted with the 1100t and 8gigs of ram.. got her on a 1000w PS.. running a few benchmarks and test.. no problems.. yet.. although be bios is a little flaky with the mouse.. I didn't have this issue with the CrosshairV.
