for SSD rolleyes.gif i think i will have OCZ vertex 4, powersupply will be Silent Pro Hybrid 1000W instead of silent pro hybrid 1300W, that is thanks for the guys reply's make me notice that i were going to waste $$

not having water cooled ram thanks for the guys reply's again, changed my mind it just s2pid show off if i bought them

the rest of the pc parts are these:

If you're only running a single 680, 1300 watt is way over kill.
Even at Quad SLI 680, they all pull around ~1000 watts on load.

Watercooled RAM is completely for show, if you're gonna get a kit, do it for the CPU and GPU.
RAM doesn't even need a heat spreader truth be told.
Doesn't really make any sense to get a H100 and you have WC'ed RAM :I

Yep, total agreement. If you REALLY want water cooled ram, then take the cost of a H100 (maybe plus a bit more) and get a good CPU block and a better rad thumb.gif Otherwise looks like a beast build. Overkill PSUs ftw!! biggrin.gif

well for powersupply ye i will change to 1000w ye i dont know what i were thinking, i will make 2 GTX 680 so 1k wat will be enough tongue.gif

but for the cpu i think with the overclock i will do corsair h100 will be enough ,

about the ram i totaly agrea but i want somthing will look nice give me idea or name or link plz, dont want black and red ram that will look kinda of weird in middle of all green components

thanks ur idea's was in the right place

what about SSD any idea ?,

it will be rendering machine for maya and 3ds max etc... after effects and converting lots of videos so will do OC but never did any oc before so not going to go crazy on the cpu thats why i think h100 will keep the cpu cooled and its ready to use directly , also i never did watercooling before biggrin.gif

am going for benchmarks and amazing ulrta settings on all latest games,

just remember this is not final am not buying it tomorrow, am still doing research and by 1 maximum 2 months will buy it

For an SSD the Vertex 4 looks good, but SSDs are not my area of expertise, so maybe wait for someone else to comment on that.

With regards to ram, if you want green, why not just get some heatsink-les value ram? tongue.gif being serious, why not look at some kingston HyperX Genesis? http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/hyperx/genesis the silver ones may not look too bad, and they also have low-voltage ram which is actually green!
Hope I helped thumb.gif

Crucial m4 is a great SSD. Not to mention it uses a 'better' (IMO) controller than SandForce.

As others have said water cooling your ram is just a waste of money. There is absolutely no reason to do it. Just get a couple of sticks with black heat spreaders and be done with it. If you HAVE to have them green then.... paint them. YA I SAID IT. Just use thermal paint (similar to what is used to paint engine heads and blocks). As long as you are not MASSIVELY overclocking the RAM there will be no reason to worry about the heat; and considering the fact that a RAM overclock MIGHT yield you a net gain of 1-2 FPS.... But, don't take my word for it. Do the research.

How about this RAM (Geil 8GB (2 x 4096mb) DDR3 1866 Evo Corsa PC15000 RAM Module Kit GOC38GB1866C9DC) which is green?

I don't know if you can get it in the UK.

I am also thinking of building a green IvyBridge build with the Sniper 3 when it comes out. What fans you gonna use? I was gonna try 4 Akasa Vipers with yellow sleeving for push-pull on a h100 for fun. The fans are yellow, but yellow and green are split complementary colours and work well together.

Cheers,

You could get some nice green Xiggy fans:

A lighter green: http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=54

And a darker, slightly paler green: http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=59

ye i will go with the darker green fan thanks for the link they look awesome biggrin.gif

i will use the fan that in haf x nvidia edition and put H100 next to it with 2 of these fans

for ram i see these are yellow(DDR3 1866 Evo Corsa PC15000) not green don't know if will look nice but worst case i will go for black or grey ram biggrin.gif

technical question , i went to local shop today and found Corsair H100 but on the box it shows what processor it support,
but didn't mention the 2011 it was like this

775/1155/1156/1136/and AMD AM2/AM3

so i am scared it wont work on my cpu , maybe will have to buy after market bracket ?
