BEST OPTION BETWEEN THESE 2 SOUNDCARD AND HEADPHONE PAIRS?

Hey guys can you pa rouse these 2 setups below that are being added to the rig in my signature and give me some feedback one the awesomeness factor and performance of option 2 compared to the sensibility and economical option 1 and whether the cost of option 2 can be justified by both awesomeness and performance? thumb.gif

option1: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=211&products_id=15882
to kill 2 birds as they say but I always have loved soundblaster cards ever since I had my soundblaster 16 bit back in the day!

the other option is to pair these 2 up which I think would be awesome!! and give me an excuse to use at least one of my 51/4 bays on my gt lvl10! biggrin.gif
option 2: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=211&products_id=19731

Edit: sorry I'm tired and I misread the specs, the specs I quoted where the microphones not the headset. Nevermind.

Cheers mate I've decided to go with
Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO and Creative Sound Blaster Recon 3D Fatal1ty Champion
I will use the mic that comes with the sound card as I didnt realise lol thumb.gif

i bought the xonar xense with the 350PC and the sound quality was amazing because before that i had a cheap headset with no sound card so everything would have been better then what i had

my opignion about the headset is that it has a great mic my friend enjoy it because the sound is clear and cancel the noise like computer sound and everything but if you want later on you can upgrade the

headphone because the sound card is awesome i still have it.

Sorry mate the original headset is OK, 10 to 26000Hz is fine. check my last post. My mistake.

But I have to say the 990 pro is something I would drool after, My SoundBlaster fatal1ty pro from 2008 has performed flawlessly to this date.

I would take the creative with the front panel bay if it was me, haven't seen much of asus in the sound business. Its hard for me to beleive it has already been 4 years since I got my Fatality pro soundcard, its still like new and beats every integrated card I've tried or had to use.

By the way if your really going to get the 990's I'd suggest you take the 32ohm version for pc use.
http://www.amazon.com/product/dp/B0024NK344

the 250ohm version might need an amp for pc use I'm not sure.
