Hrmmm, the titans you were testing the rads with isn't that bad with airflow. They're just a little noisier than AP-15's...rolleyes.gif

Yeah, and they do match up really well in terms of CFM per RPM of the Zalman which means the RPM scale in the radiator testing is a pretty good common 25mm fan scale.thumb.gif

Add the Titan video in there. It does better than average down low (less than 1400RPM), but starts to have issues on my test rig at the higher speeds.

Have you had a chance to look at the Noctua NF-F12 fans yet? I would love to hear your opinion on them.

Wouldn't mind that too, of all the reviews of the fan all I have read of it is the reviewers opinion nothing on the actual numbers from tests

I think these tests were just to show the diffrences in fans on his rad tests. People kept asking why he didn't use AP-15's, and Iguess this was the comparison so we knew were we stood.

Well that's my take on this anyhow.

Say Matrin, are you going to be testing the BI GTX's with 38mm 3kprm fans?

I would be up for a couple more fans if I could get a sponsor, but I spent enough to buy the radiator testing fans. First I bought three Deltas, then six of the Titans, then three Ap-29s. I tried to find fan sponsors for the rad testing but not a one attempt from many were successful.

I'm broke..sorry. I have spent way too much out of my own pocket on this round as it is..

I may do more with fans, on the rad bench, but I still have a few more rads to run on the Titan setup and don't want to mess with the test bench until everything I plan to test has gone through. A simple thing like reading RPM off a different titan sample is enough to screw up the condition.

I have the UT30 now and will test this weekend, and should have the last few on Monday for testing next weekend. Then I will have all the rad base testing done..then maybe..smile.gif

Martin....I'm also interested in some real testing of the Noctua PF-F12, as its on my short list for fans in upcoming build. Gonna have 4 big rads in this build, which means a lot of fans. Better to spend a little upfront and get the right fan for the job, than waste $600 bucks on 30 of the wrong fans. I'd be willing to buy some fans for testing if you had time to get to them fairly soon. I've read most of the reviews on your website, and figure I owe a little donation anyway. smile.gif

OK, sounds like there is enough interest....if you are willing to sponsor it. You donate the fan cost, I'll order it and donate my time to test it against the GT15..thumb.gif
Or if you want to order and just send me the fan, PM me and I'll give you my addy.

Looks like Frozen carries them:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14571/fan-948/Noctua_NF-F12_120_x_25mm_PWM_Fan.html?tl=g36

$25 for the fan plus $9 shipping or $34.
