Cheapest korean 2560 * 1440p IPS monitor with Display port

CROSSOVER 2720MDP with the display port sells for $499

Achieva Shimian Qh270-lite without the display port sells for $325

Active Displayport to dual link DVI adapter sells for $75

You do the math !!

Is there a IPS 2560 * 1440 monitor around $400 with display port ?

DisplayPort can be found in models with SCALER (models "around $400" are all without it)

it is possible to make cheaper DISPLAYPORT-ONLY model WITHOUT SCALER

but model without DVI is hard to sell, that is why you should not expect it anytime soon

panel in this model should have eDP interface instead of 2xLVDS, that mean there will be no room for overclock over 60hz

in theory, you can get LG panel with eDP interface and use it with directly with video card

other models with scaler can be cheaper, you can find $460 offers without dp, may be in future there will be dp model around this price

i am not sure how good this convertors at high resolutions... but may be you can find cheaper convertor?

I'm pretty sure that Displayport --> DVI adapters are all limited to 1920x1200, so that wouldn't work.

On ebay I found Bizlink dp+usb to dvi-d adapter that supports up to 2560x1600 it's the same you can find on nvidia online store but cheaper.
