WNR3500L with DD-WRT = Best hardwired ROUTER (I only use wifi for simple things really)
Completely stable, I never have to reset it, Also it's can handle heavy loads with no problem. With 8MB ROM and 64MB RAM it can handle anything I toss at it.

I also have a WNR2000V2 and it is just as stable


Netgear has really turned themselves around after all those crappy G routers(wgr614 looking at you).

Linksys and NetGear are the best. D-Link and Buffalo are still crap.

I use a Belkin wireless router, I don't know if you have them in the US but they're quite popular here in the UK.

I use TP-Link for other network components, like wireless cards and power line kits.
