IBT @ 4.5Ghz - 1.2v

IBT @ 4.5Ghz - 1.19v

I'm going to install a push/pull on my CM Hyper 212 Evo and replace some of my seized case fans to try and get the temps further down.
I'll update this thread as I try to push it even further.

Feel free to leave any suggestions / questions that you have! thumb.gif

EDIT: Updated Linx.

EDIT2: Added a quick 5 minute Prime95 - 4.6Ghz @ 1.24v. Will let it run overnight to make sure it's stable. I tried 4.7Ghz @ 1.27v but no luck. It's starting to hit almost 90C, so I'm a little hesitant to push it further. redface.gif

EDIT3: Reseated Evo, Temps dropped by approx 10C. Added 4.6Ghz Linx + 4.6Ghz Reseat Prime95

EDIT4: Added a few pics of 4.7, 4.8.

EDIT5: Added IBT @ 4.5Ghz.

EDIT6: Added IBT @ 4.5Ghz - 1.19v

At 1.2v and 4.5ghz you get a max of 80C in Prime huh? If the actual ceiling is higher on IB then SB, then I guess it would be an equivalent to around 75C or lower max on SB. I can live with that scenario. I only want to run 4.6ghz 24/7, which would be equal to my SB.

Win! (for me)

Yeah, I just installed another fan on my Evo. I'm going to run it a bit and see how far the temps drop.

Are they the same fan?

If they are different fans with different CFM rates/RPM rates I can see why, but if they are the same it should help by 2C or so assuming ambient don't change.

Any suggestions on what to put it to?
Won't this also give it the chance to be unstable?
