I know it's not confirmed 100% stable yet. My run @ 1.2v with Prime95 went for 12.5 hours, so I wanted to try lower.
I don't like running it during the day, so I run the long hauls overnight when I sleep! biggrin.gif

yep linx gives higher gflops.

hmmm at 1.19v ur temps are higher then 1.2v. it probably means your processor is struggling at 1.19v. well thats what i think. it probably means your processor at 4.5ghz want to be at 1.2v for smooth operation.

oh yeah and the before computer reseat stats are unnecessary. who cares how it cooled when it was seated wrong.

Still seems pretty hot for 4.5. Peaked at 80c. I guess these can take more heat though?

Was setting the PLL to 1.5v needed? is it unstable on auto?

Did you really need extreme LLC to get rid of the vdroop? I've always worried about this setting.

Oh, sorry I probably should have commented..
My ambient temps were much lower on the 1.2v. It was 4C outside in the morning and it got up to 20C at least when I was benching the 1.19v.
So I'd bet the temp differences are because of the room I'm in heating up.

I tried both and it didn't seem to change anything. Not even temps.
Auto = 1.8v.

I figured less was better? *shrug*

Ah, I see.

Edited a bit late:
Did you need extreme LLC to get rid of the vdroop? I've always worried about this setting, i've heard horror stories about setting this too high.

Sin has done an OC guide for Ivy bridge and I'm sure he stated to avoid high levels of LLC because it produces alot more heat. Lower LLC and raise vcore slightly is more beneficial. I'll try find the guide now.

Edit: Here we go:

Lots of tother very useful info in there as well. Should definately be read.

This have been mentioned so many times. Yes IB can take the heat more. It has 7C higher TJ MAX than SB.
