Holy crap where did you find a 128GB Vertex 4 for that cheap? I just bought my two on Amazon for $168 each. I got robbed! biggrin.gif

With the new firmware that is coming out and Z77 RAID 0, I should get close to 2000 in AS SSD with my Vertex 4's. That will be a nice bump from my current Vertex 3 Max IOPS Raid 0 that get's around 1250 on X79.

Do you suppose it's because it's Tony from OCZ posting it? LOL.

I'm sure that realistically, the Vertex 4 is a bit faster than the 3. But OCZ is doing a great job cherrypicking stuff to make it look like more. All the review sites, and there were many, didn't find anywhere near that much difference.

Corsair Performance Pro is a safer pick.
Vertex 4 is still in it's beta stages with great AS-SSD scores but it's performance scales in a different way comprared to the previous marvell controller.
