I was given a 2004 Sony Vaio laptop for my little brother, with the stipulation that I put a fresh OS on there as it was previously a business computer. I have an XP disc and I have the XP registration code for the machine (as with most business machines its on a sticker stuck to the machine itself) unfortunately I cannot seem to get it to boot from the disk, researching on google, it seems to be a common issue with these, the drive isn't fast enough to read before the HDD kicks in (sounds kinda bs to me but whatever), disabling the HDD immediately sends you to a "No OS found screen" my last option is to boot from USB, I have an XP .iso file. Was hoping for something like the windows 7 tool that makes it quite simple, select the iso ad it does the rest of the work for you. Unfortunately the MS one only works on windows 7 and every program I find online looks shady at best.
tl/dr - Looking for a piece of software that will take an xp OS .iso and make it bootable off a usb drive
thanks ahead of time, much appreciation
