Well it is either NCIX price match or Tigerdirect for me. Does anyone know what rebate Tigerdirect is talking about on the email ads?

700

they usually put that sale date up there to protect themselves, I'd wager these will be long term MC pricing as its basically $10 more than what the 2500 and 2600K have been since forever at MC (outside of sales that priced them even lower)

The Core i7 3770K + Sabertooth Z77 can be had for $490 + tax at MicroCenter... talk about a sweet deal for those who can take advantage of it.

As far as their advertisement says... the $50 off of Z77 motherboards is ONLY with the i5 3570k, not the 3770k. If they did the combo with 3770k, I'd be getting myself a Z77-UD5H with it smile.gif

Bah, I missed that. My reading comprehension skills take a dive after 1AM I guess. I would assume they will extend the offer to the 3770K eventually, though.

At least I feel better about buying it elsewhere now smile.gif

Closest MC to me is a 400 mile round trip. That's $100 in gas for my truck.
The same combo at MC will be $350 ($450 with gas).
A Asus P8Z77-V and 3570k will be $450 at newegg.

Anyone in Iowa want to car pool? lol.

I have an MC about an hour or so from me. Think I should tell them to put on reserve an ASRock Z77 Professional and an i5-3750K and pick it up then? Also, it would be cheaper than paying for my expected $225 for the CPU and the other motherboard would be about $170. So about $395 of what I was expecting compared to $190 plus $180, which would total up to $370 and I can get it tomorrow/today, with a better board in tow as well.

Okay, apparently every store on the MC site says it is sold out, but when you choose the web store, it is in stock, but when you add it to the cart, it gets removed immediately. Does that mean that the stores might not possibly say it's in stock till they open at 11AM or do you really believe they are sold out? Also, if this is such a hassle, should I just get the motherboard and CPU combo I want (there is an ASRock Z77 Extreme6 motherboard and 3570K combo on Newegg that knocks off about 35 bucks from the price, but with shipping it's about $413)?

I'm almost positive that it changed from "Not available" to "SOLD OUT" without actually being available. I was checking it every 20-30 minutes throughout the entire night and never saw it go on sale.

When I add it to the cart, the price goes up to $359.99!!!
(using web store)

EDIT:

I was able to add it to my cart and checkout. For some reason the site wouldn't process my order with the CC so I selected in-store pick up and it went through.
So with tax it was $317.34

I really wish it would have let me pay for it online. Now I have to wait until they open to call before I go down there. It's about a 40 mile round trip for me.
