Windows Live Movie Maker, ATI 6870 and Dxtory issue.

Hey guys,

Wondering if you guys could help me with rendering/encoding for some game videos I have downloaded with Dxtory. So basically I have captured some footage with Dxtory, my end product is a file of 24GBs, basically way too large for my to play it on Windows Media Player. So I put the file into Windows Live Movie Maker and save as a preset for high definition display.

My render settings are:
Width: 1920
Height: 1080
Bit-Rate: 24000 Kbps
FPS: 29.97

The new file comes out to be 373 MB in windows media player format and so far so good except when I play back the file its supper laggy! I am scared if I upload it to youtube its gonna be laggy still. Can anyone help me out? Used fraps and when I rendered it out with Windows Live Media player it was much smoother. Trying to get this sorted fast as I need to release the footage (GW2 Beta gameplay) ;P

Are you recording with DXtory at the same frame rate as your saving the video in movie maker?

I believe Dxtory is recording at 30 FPS, while the render at Windows Live Movie Maker is 29.97.. Would that .03 make that big a difference? If so, I will fix it..

.03 shouldnt make much difference, Might just make the video look like its playing slightly slower.
What did you try watch the video in.
Windows media player, VLC.
Iv found that some times VLC doesnt like WMV and iv had to play it with windows media player. And the other way around with some other codecs.
