Hello all,

So I'm embarking into a new build this summer and I would like all of you who care to do so, to help have some input on the direction of this build!

What I will simply do is give you a list of the parts I just received in the mail, along with pictures as proof of course! Then I would like to know what you think I should do next. Sound good? I think so!

Monitor(s): 2x ASUS VG278H 27" 120Hz monitors (sorry devoted 2560x1440'ers, I had to have my 120Hz for my games!)

Mouse: RAZER Naga Epic

Keyboard: Logitech G19

DVD: LITE-ON Blu-ray Burner

Thermal Paste: Arctic Silver 5

Sata Cables: 4x 70cm SATA III 6Gbps cables, straight to right-angle

GPU(s): 2x XFX Double D, Radeon HD 7970 Black Edition 3GB

PSU: CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX1200 (1200W)

CPU: Intel Core i7-3930k

Motherboard: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme X79

MEM: CORSAIR Vengeance 32GB (8 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

SSD: Samsung 830 Series 512GB

Case: CaseLabs STH10(customized)

PICTURES

These are the things I have decided upon, and have received (case, motherboard, and memory are on their way)

What should my next move be? This is my first larger build. The only thing I want to add, is that I will NOT be doing water cooling until this coming fall/winter.

Have at it!

You might want to wait for Ivy Bridge since it is just releasing this week I think. You also might want to shop around a little for the SSD as those Samsungs are pretty expensive. Also, if this is for gaming you don't need 32gb ram. You also need an HDD on that list unless you already have one. THnkas about it.

Looks to be an awesome build!

If you got a third monitor you could do 120hz eyefinity or 60hz 3D Eyefintiy....it would look amazing.

I am going to look into a third monitor this fall as well, it just didn't seem like a necessary step at the moment.

I will wait for ivy bridge-e on that one. Also I have an 8 TB NAS that I store all of my media and files on. This sad is specifically for games and applications and the OS. I do a lot of photoshop and I'm learning 3D rendering as well as running some virtual servers.
