I'd appreciate some input on this!

Hey guys!

I've been using my computer for a very long time on my lcd tv.. something like 6 years if not more., I'm thinking about relocating my computer and finally get a "normal" monitor for it.. I'm a bit out of the game as my last one was a viewsonic cathodic screen lol.. 17"!!

anyway I'm wondering how satisfied I'd be with this as my -first- real gaming/web/youtube lcd monitor..

I MIGHT grab 3 of them since they're not too expensive if they're good for me! I'm not sure how well my two gtx 580 1.5 would perform on it? I suppose I'd have to lower some settings in some games?

I'm playing a couple of fps, but after may 15 it'll be almost exclusively diablo 3 biggrin.gif for a while surely!

they have 2-3 other models available on that site but since I may be aiming at 3 I'd prefer it in the 500-ish range..

or maybe I'd be better off with a single -bigger- and -better- monitor? Never used surround before! not even two monitors!

thanks for your input guys it's appreciated!

from the reviews i can find, thats not a bad monitor for a value line. i say go for it. 2 580s should have no problem with that.

My monitor is almost identical to it and I'm very satisfied with it. You're 580s should handle them fine except for some games that need more vram. Although if you're going with three monitors, maybe you should get one with thinner bezels on the sides.

Who the hell would have doubts about two 580's being able to run anything?

^ people trying to get everyone aboard the "buy a gtx 680, NOW" boat

People with only 1.5gb of vram?

For the few threads I've read on triple monitors setup, it seems that sometimes 1.5gb of vram is insufficient to run some games maxed out. I've never mentionned gtx 680 nor do I plan on getting newer cards.

Wether it would be frequent or not and if I'd be better off with a single monitor was my question.
