Except most GPUs are actually available, not something no one will ever see.
You do realize that the only reason the supply of the GTX 680s is so rare is because Nvidia was holding the chips back to produce for the GTX 690, right? Expect availability of both cards to ramp up within the next 30 days.

I'm still waiting for you to actually post something relevant in any of the GTX 690 threads that isn't a complete show of AMD-fanboyism and a post full of "if if if assuming assuming assuming." May as well run to all the GTX 680 threads and start petitioning the GTX 680 SLI owners to return their 680s as well, "if" GK110 is coming out this year since they doled out $1k for their setups as well. Then you can tell the GTX 780 owners whenever that's released that you wouldn't want to pay whatever it cost to get one of those if the GTX 880 is going to be released 8-12 months from then. Better yet, screw it, just tell everyone to never upgrade, period.
