Need very light claw grip mouse. - Page 2

Great news everyone!!! I just fixed my diamondback and even made it better!!
I saw this video and this is when it hit me what the problem was. I thought it was the switch but it wasn't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIR3MfrD7Gc&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLS8n7P-DUPB0S78iQbcJcXw
I did not have any wax or hot glue so I used some thick electrical tape. I cut off a tiny piece and put it over the top of the little notch that hits the switch on the mouse board. This made my mouse click MUCH quieter because of the softer surface and the click is now much less stiff, and the plastic makes full contact. :DD

The second link you listed the last post of last page is the mouse I have been using and it's a great replacement especially for the price, but it does have long shipping time.

And that's precisely why you would pay $60 for a new one! :DD But looks like you lucked-out, for now, you cheapskate. =p (no hard feelings, I'm from PA too :\ )

I would not pay $60 for a diamondback, I would probably just try out the abyssus and see how it's like.
But yeah, the diamondback is now clicking better than ever. I like it much more than before now because my main gripe with it was the loud clicking noise, now it is silent and the clicking requires less force and is more..
how should I say it, responsive.. It's like when you are typing on a mechanical keyboard, the keys pop out and push your finger..this is what it's like now with the diamondback now that I have tape over the switches. biggrin.gif

I am selling the deathadder black edition in case anyone is interested, not a single blemish on it, even has the silicone on the bottom of the mouse still.
