Looking around, seems the UK price is around £250 for the 3770k, which translates to $406. Strikes me as we've been shafted yet again with pricing compared to our US cousins!

The 3820 is around £220 and the 2600k can be had for only £210. These prices coupled with concerns over poor overclocking potential due to heat with the 3770k make these pretty attractive options to me.

Anyone else disappointed with the UK price?

uk prices arnt too bad - I bought the 2700k from the states when it came out and everyone but mainly the uk was price jacking us price was 369 uk was 283? errr I cant remember now ... alls I know they were jacked for like a week or so.

I want to get it just not sure if I want to wait or what and where to get it at. parents live in states I in london

Ordered mine from Scan at 07.27 this morning. Scan and Overclockers were the only places this morning showing as having stock, or even acknowledging it exists lol.

Yeah 20% VAT, rip off Britain. What are the chances they'll reduce it back to 17.5% after this so-called 'recession' is over? Nil I say.

Yeah ordered mine >10am from scan along with mobo and memory, Tuesday delivery! Chances are I'll miss it due to being in college

They has also been incredibly bad at shipping costs I've payed £20 for standard delivery on a single item that wasn't too large
I honestly think I might be better of getting a friend across the water to send the parts too me. They also have much better availability on different parts which may be scarce around here
