There was a thread on here earlier tonight where someone with the 3770k and a Hyper 212+ had proof that under 12+hour prime 95 the chip would do 4.6 @72c. Not terrible when you consider that my SB 2500k does 4.8 @72c as well. A little higher of temps but not as bad as initially thought.

What is the difference from getting bad i5 2500K chip? It still consume less power anyway.

Just ordered my 3770k. Had a one time use code for $20 off, so I got overnight shipping for free. BUILD COMPLETED. Now just hoping I get 4.6GHz or better.
