I believe it's a fail set of settings for your cpu and memory. Sometimes auto doesn't put the correct values needed even for stock.

Run HyperPI with the setting 32m and see if it passes. Will only take about 11 minutes. Tests your CPU and Memory for stability. I use is to see if my Memory OC is stable.

I've never used this program but gave it a try. I didn't see any error messages after it was done.

Looks pretty good. I think your ram is fine.

I am wondering if it's just a driver issue. Even a bios update for the mobo can fix problems. Since everything is new tech, might need to wait for updates. Who knows.

Bumped the VCCSA & DRAM voltage just a touch. Disabled C1 & Stepping. Running 3.9. Ghz CPU OC at a constant rather than fluctuating.

With my 1175 MHz & 1201 MHz GPU Boost OC I seem to be stable. That might have been the trick. It's only a 12% OC on the CPU but I'm taking it slowly and step at a time.

The GPU stock or with an OC stable is more important to me. Fingers crossed. Well earned rep.

Going to test the hell out of this before I move forward.

Edited to add: Didn't work. Moved onto BF3 Ultra mode slight OC except turned off motion blur. Started playing and black screened hard lock up. Went back to stock and have artifacts. BF3 is more demanding turned up all the way as opposed to Crysis.

So calling Newegg and hopefully doing an exchange. I sure hope they can replace it. Didn't pay $1000 to not to be able to game. I can stream Netflix with the intergrated Intel iGPU 4000.

Are you running at stock settings with no OC??You need to test using memtest mate,not that program your using,it wont test for stability like memtest does,also your ram running at auto should be good enough,its possible it could also be your motherboard...once step at a time,maybe reinstalling windows also can help....

@V3teran - I haven't tried running the RAM in auto because when I did it showed 1300 MHz when it's actually 2400 MHz. Will try that first.

Yes everything was at stock when I had the artifacts last night. I was having a wash of colors of purple and some lines in various areas. I can even try putting my 680 in to test if it's my card. I should try that too. Will wait on the return until I exhausted all options.

I didn't think RAM would cause purple colors to wash into the graphics being rendered. So I guess I'm assuming it must be the card. Thanks for your input.
