There's not enough space to get sufficient air flow. As many told you in your thread you created, get a better case so you can space apart the cards.

This was done with quality settings enabled along with FXAA turned on I could have maby got a couple hundred more by tweaking to performance settings in nvidia control panel but I feel that these cards not only represent raw power but quality so I used HQ settings .

I agree I love the GTX 690 too. wubsmiley.gif

First off the quality of the build is amazing best GPU of any kind to this date. Built from the ground up with solid engineering and components.

Plated aluminum frame & magnesium fan housing. Top if off with polycarbonate windows to view inside and laser etched LED lightning name on side.

Built on mother board thick quality PCB. Five phase PWM's per side (10 total) instead four phase PWM's like reference. Dual vapor chamber cooling which is very efficient and quite ducted airflow channels with axial fan.

Frame metering to reduce micro-stutter. Best performing dual GPU ever with improved scaling almost as good as two singles in SLI performance.

Everything you guys in the club already knew but it was worth repeating following Cheesemaster's post. wink.gif

Fits my needs perfectly for my single 120 Hz monitor for 2D & 3D Vision only taking up one PCIe 3.0 x 16 slot, optimal bandwidth. Temperatures is phenomenal at 30C-31C idle and highly over clocked 71C-74C full throttle. Lower power consumption than two in SLI.

The cherry on the top for me is asthetics which is very important to me in my rig (see pics of Ivy Cruncher) with an EVGA back plate being released real soon I can't wait to finish my system.

I'm relived to know it's backed by EVGA 3 year outstanding RMA customer service on top which makes me sleep much better at night knowing my investment is covered. thumb.gif

P.S. - I know that I could have got two reference GPU's for a bit more performance but for the reasons stated above that you can't get with two in SLI it was more than worth it to me. biggrin.gif

So right now I have a real mild overclock =)!!! just playing around. But today I was playing few games with and without Vsync and also tried the adaptive mode. I currently only have a 60hz Samsung. what do you guys recommend on the Vsync setting? on,of,adaptive, or let program chose. this card is easy maxing out my 60fps so just wondering.
