My gpu is at 35c idle, before remounting I had 25c idle with mx-4 in a hotter room. I screwed it down all the way, both cpu and gpu, so it has to make contact.
After sticking it on though, I did move both around A LOT because it was difficult with tubing already on the block to mount, and I do think I applied the paste normally, since I did it on my delided cpu and nothing blew up, whatever will try to remount when I get new parts.
