anyone else experiencing it?
I've been running 310.70 since release date. I had "display drivers stopped working and successfully recovered" happen during internet browsing on desktop while using 310.70 WHQL 'Candidate'.
I assumed since I had just re-applied some OC to Memory day prior it may have been too high even though that Memory OC never had issues prior.
Since drivers stopped responding when I was running a newly applied OC to Memory and my Core OC had been stable for months prior I've decided to revert back to stock Memory but keep my Core OC. Giving this a test and see if it happens again. I'm leaning it has nothing to do with anything other than driver issue to be ironed out before final WHQL release.
Reapplied 310.70 driver and since re-install a few days ago it hasn't happened again but too soon to tell.
So 310.70 failed in game on you and during normal internet browsing on desktop for me with over clocks. Curious if anyone had drivers stop responding but with stock clocks using 310.70?
As for everything else this driver has given me a gaming performance increase in the games I play and fixed my GPU from not being able to down clock to 2D clocks after gaming. So I'm sticking with it, display drivers failing once is not enough for me to switch back to previous WHQL.
So benjaminlev09 Congrats on your GTX 690.
