Should I add another GPU (I use em for gaming at 1440p). Are there any issues with the 690s in SLI. Any one playing crysis 3 on their SLI setup?
I like to see a solid 60fps while playing. Metro, far cry 3 and crysis 3 are the ones where I don't get those numbers
What do you guys suggest. If I keep the titans how much should I sell my 680 with a heatkiller block and backplate?
I can give you some impartial advice, as I have 2 690s and 4 Titans to be received next week. I have really enjoyed quad 690s so much so that I may just keep them for an HTPC build. All the games that you mentioned , run very well on my surround, provided I keep the AA settings low. Two 690s beat two Titans for your screen and my surround. I will never trade my 2 690 gpu grunt for 6 gb of ram that I have not missed yet. So, why am I getting 4 Titans , because it will be fun to benchmark and for the heck of it , I will turn up all AA settings to max just to see what the big deal is about max AA in surround.
I will, however, take 3 Titans over 2 690s, but not sure that makes sense for your res.
my two cents worth .....
