so after many hours of playing I can say I am stable at +125 core and +500 on memory.

all games runs great on this card i must say. so smooth. I am only gaming on 1200p so vram is not a problem. tomb raider maxed out (incl. 4x ssaa), crysis 3, far cry 3 and witcher 2 (ubersampling on). damn they look great smile.gif love it !

temps are also quite good with profiled fan curve (maximum was 85 / 79 C in far cry 3 but there is also a lot cpu heat from my i5 3570k @ 4.6)

will finaly post some pics and bench scores next week

just sharing info for you guys

thanks for the help in previous posts btw

About 16K with a 3770K

Regarding to some very low 3DMark scores, i came accross this thread.
I've red a lot of post and now i'm stuck with some questions.

I've red that the 690 can only use 2Gb of VRAM, making a triple setup at very high allmost impossible. Though the 690 has 4Gb of Vram. Does it only use 2gb of it? If so, why?
I am running a 690 sli setup. Does it only use the VRAM of one card?
Came accross this article which says 2gb shouldnt be an issue for 5760x1080 http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Video-Card-Performance-2GB-vs-4GB-Memory-154/

Besides that, does anybody else have the same problem with 3D Mark (11) and quad sli?

That Holds true only for 7680x1440.... you are perfectly fine with 5760x1080.

SLI-Crossfire doesn't add up ram... it mirrors it. So if you have 4 GPUs and three of them has 4GB and a fourth one with 2GB the whole system will only use 2GB since the cards need to have the same info on the ram on each card.

i was just overclocking my 690 and testing it in crysis 3 and the max core clock i got before it crashed was +135mhz, which in game is 1189. should i use something else to test my overclock? i figured crysis 3 is the most demanding game out there at the moment. i was hoping to get in the 12xxmhz clocks. whats the average overclock for memory?

Try a gpu benchmark like 3dmark11, Unigen Heaven or Valley. If it crashes too, its unstable. I used the HardOCp guide and only added 100+ (brings it to 1600).

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/05/03/nvidia_geforce_gtx_690_dual_gpu_video_card_review/7

Crysis 3 runs like crap sometimes, running in surround with quads makes it worse. I have yet to have any game crash (stock clocks for now) but crysis 3 crashed quite a bit. Even Crysis 2 runs smooth as butter in Surround. I would wait for more mature drivers and possibly a patch from Crytek/EA.

crysis 3 is not optimized at all. i cant even run it maxed with 8x msaa. total bs right there.

I actually ran it in high and fxaa w/out vsync since it was so bad in the first couple of levels (opening at sea and the damn level). i do have Max Payne 3 which I notice is another intensive game used to benchmark in reviews. I'll fire that one up once I finish crysis 3. I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed with the story of Crysis 3. Just adds more confusion to the console guys (more butchering like the first's story to get them up to speed).

Well, i have yet to try other games since i corrected a doh.gif mistake redface.gif. I did play a bit of Metro. Favorite part is the Dungeon (buy a crap load of ammo for this one biggrin.gif). Without DoV, it soars to 100fps. I have it w/ vsync on to keep it smoother @ 50-60fps.
