In the Valley thread the 780 is 28% below my 690, so for that price I would definitely look at the 690. However it would depend on if the warranty transferred and it was a good overclocker.

If you will SLI the 780, and need that much horsepower then that is a consideration also. But that sounds like a good price for the 690.

I'd jump all over a 690 for $625.

Hi OCN,

anyways

GTX 690 EVGA

When I use two monitors so I have to use top right and the bottom one (looking at the back of your computer) for them to work. If I want to go back to a single monitor I still just leave in the top right because I get no signal if I put it on the top left. In order to get this to work (probably a driver error) I have to go back to 320.18 but I downgraded after I heard that it was frying peoples GPUs.

Is it weird that I can't use the top left (no signal) and does it matter which one of the top ones you use if you are using single monitor?

does overclocking the memory do anything for the 690? when i did a benchmark for tomb raider it gave me like 2 fps better when i raised it 500mhz but maybe for other games it helps more? i only use 1 1080p screen.
