Yes, sad part of VRAM.
Actually, then I bought GTX690, somehow I just thought it will have 4Gb of VRAM and was thinking of enough for long time. Since I got it, realised that is not 4, it is 2x2 smile.gif
So how are you guys satisfied with Battlefield 4 on all Ultra? smile.gif and GPU-z shows about 1900Mb utilization of VRAM?
Where can I sell mine? smile.gif

Has anyone tried the GeForce 332.21 driver here?
what's your in game performance?
is there anyone having issues with their GTX 690 using this driver?

any reply would be much appreciated
-thanks

The 332.23 has also received a few revisions of the boost behavior. This is not mentioned in the changelog. My 690GTX GPU1 is now throttling also in Games like BF4 or AC4! otherwise only in 3DMark! (Monitor is on GPU2)

Bought the ARCTIC Accelero TT 690 VGA Cooler (Only $49.99 on Newegg) and Windows 8.1

We shall see how DX 11.2 + better cooling affect BF4 FPS. I also bought 3 1 TB drives for a RAID 5 array. Should be fun to button it all up next week!

Do I have to migrate from win 7 to win 8.1 to get more performance from my GTX 690? or that difference doesn't worth whole reinstall/redownload tons of GB ?

I installed it the day it was released and have no problems with any games I play (RO2, CS GO, Metro LL). 3dmark score was very similar to my previous with 331.82

The biggest help would be DX 11.2

It has DirectX tiled resources but from what I gather it will require GFX drivers to be written to support it. Should help w/the VRAM issue as it uses system memory in addition to VRAM. Should be something of a game changer as far as video memory goes.

Here's an interesting video describing it:

Even better video:
