I put a system together last autumn see picture below.
The Tygon started to cloud up after a couple of months and the sides of the clear tubing suggest it is now leaching plasticizer. The cooling liquid is still quite clear although there is a small amount of white particles stuff floating at the top of the reservoir which I think is flux I didn't get out of the radiators.
What I find interesting is the Tygon 3603 has got a bit stiffer and flattened out somewhat on the bends which luckily does not appear to be restricting flow and I am wondering if this is a sign the plasticizer leaching is almost at an end and the tubing will stabilise. In which case flushing and replacing the liquid might be all I need to do.
I purchased some black Tygon R6012 Norprene a while ago as I understand it is rubber based, handles higher temps better so heat should not deform it and does not leach plasticizer. Once plumbed in I would hope it will be pretty much maintenance free for a year or two.
I'm sort of undecided as I like the clear tubing with green liquid as it goes really well with the set-up but it ain't as attractive now the tubing has clouded and it looks like some plasticizer is building up on the tube side. The Norprene will just look black!
Decisions, decisions.
