Internet Explorer 7.0 Final Released

I haven't really been gung-ho on MS IE for a while now, but for those who do like it, it's finally released.
Also, I vaguely remember reading that soon/eventually IE7.0 would be automatically downloaded and installed
via Windows Update (for those of us who don't download and install it ourselves), but I may be wrong about that.

IE7 is actually decent - it has some good features and apparantly handles RSS feeds better than FF2. well - stock ff2. give it a month and any feature that IE7 has better than FF will be better on FF

I take it you're a non-partisan who leans toward Firefox? Your post makes it seem so.
... Mmmm, I dunno, I'll check out IE7 soon enough, rather than writing it off completely. I'm just not eager about it, y'know?

Anywho though, I love the power of community and open source, and developers who (quickly) fix problems, rather than assigning a sort of triage-like risk factor level to decide (a) whether or not to respond to the problem with a fix and/or (b) when to respond to a problem with a fix...
Granted, I can understand MS is a huge, busy corporation, but with IE being tied straight to the kernal (et al), methinks you shouldn't be leaving anything to question with its security.
