Grainy picture

Watching transformers 3 (blu-Ray) on my system listed below, with a friend that is a PC hater, and of course near the end of the movie it went grainy for a few seconds a couple times.

Any idea's what could cause this?
I'm watching the blu-ray off one of my WD DRIVES that the movie was ripped to.
Watching @ 1920 x 1080
Using arcsoft totalmedia theater to play the image.

Go to nvidia drivers and then adjust the 2 settings within "Adjust image video settings"
