Ivy Bridge is FINALLY here!! Those of us who have decided to jump right in and buy a new Ivy Bridge CPU (amidst all of the negative reports) can use this thread to discuss and compare our new chips!

REQUIRED TO JOIN
Please use this form to self-enter yourself into the club!
A CPU-Z Validation link is still required and the user it is published from must be the same as your OCN username!
In order to join the Ivy Bridge Owners' Club, you must enter all the required information in the form that meets the following requirements!
You MUST have a batch number for your CPU. This can be found on a printed label on the outside of the retail box that your CPU came in. It is also printed on the IHS (integrated heat sink) on the top of the chip. The batch number will start with either the letter ' L' or the number '3'.
It is also required that you validate your OC result using the CPU-Z validator. If you have internet on the rig you're OCing, simply click "Validate" button in bottom of CPU-Z window to open CPU-Z Validation window. Then hit "Submit" button in 'Online Mode' section of CPU-Z Validation window. You can also click "Save Validation File" in 'Manual Mode' section of the CPU-Z Validation Window. This will save a file for you to manually submit to the online validator.
Make sure that CPUZ is showing the OC speed of you CPU when you click "validate". For those of you who do not disable the CPU C-states, real-time ratio changes in the OS, thermal response, etc. and your CPU changes multiplier while in the OS, you need to make sure your CPU is under sufficient load to run at full speed. Otherwise your CPUZ validation will only show an underclocked frequency. (If you still have problems figuring out how to validate CPU-Z, use google to learn how)
