You will probably kill your motherboard before you kill your CPU.

Yea your right, iam not gonna stop.
I have to stop by micro center to day and pick up a few powerful 120mm fans, and cut out the fan shroud on the case.

Also going to mount some fans pointing to the vrm heat sinks.

I will update yall around 7pm

You may blow the mobo. Most probably you just won't post anymore, no matter how much voltage you put through it. Short term suicide runs are fun but I've never been able to get a chip/mobo to quit on air. They just won't boot anymore after you get to a certain point. Take them back down to 24/7 numbers and they work again. I think the long term near/at/over intel specs will do them in in relation to volts/temp. They jus twill need more and more volts to be stable... get hotter... more instability again... then you've gotta finally drop the clocks to keep it stable.
I would like to see you set the voltage to 1.5v (just shy of Intel's supposed max) and the highest clock you can achieve with that and run prime95 24/7 and see if it "degrades" or hurts it in any way. This would obviously also require adequate cooling and motherboard resilience but I think this degradation mystery has gone on long enough!

1.5 is weak sauce. A day of suicide runs, changing settings, rebooting a bunch of times, etc. won't do the damage weeks/months will do at a constant high voltage... especially loaded to hold temps high. 'Capastrophic' stuff usually is caps going on a mobo... PSU going... etc. Nothing to do w/the cpu.

Just crank it up by .1v increments every 100 mhz and see what you can boot into windows. Throw a box fan on the outside to ensure there's no stagnant air nearby will help ensure you aren't circulating warm air back in the case. Lock your CPU fan at 100%. Let her rip. I could boot into windows on a Q6600 north of 4 Ghz and 1.65v. Bunches of suicide runs. Chip/board survived more use afterwards w/no observed ill effects. Even managed an auto shutdown at one point from heat. That's where I gave up. It'll take care of itself. Maybe you can hit the mid-5 Ghz range. Smile and realize your putting out as much heat as a decent solder gun at this point.

Have fun!

Those were my thoughts exactly. I've killed my EVGA board with volts too high before my 920 ever died, actually the 920 is still going on the replacement board.
